Deep Creek supports the greatest diversity of wildlife habitats of any drainage on the San Bernardino National Forest and has earned the State designation of a Wild Trout Stream. It also represents some of the best variety of flora communities of the national forest. The nearby area signifies a transit conifer forest. This vegetation variety from chamise, sparse creosote, as well as California buckwheat at lower levels to pinyon and oak woodland and strewn mixed conifer, vigorous riparian environments are also there.

If you are looking for something more exciting and will give you some physical work out, then you can hike up to the trail of Top of the World and enjoy the views of the breathtaking views!
